Overview
Emerging in the fast-growing spyware prevention industry, Blue Coat needed a channel-marketing, cross-media campaign that would grab attention and increase market share.
Solution
Propel Group incorporated their name and shield logo into eye-catching, themed advertising campaigns geared towards IT professionals throughout the business world. Marketing and advertising kits were created and E-mail blasts were designed to effectively get their message to the targeted professionals.
Impact
Blue Coat’s Interceptor™ hardware gained recognition as a serious player in the spyware prevention arena and recruited a record number of partners in the effort.
Network Associates
Overview
Network Associates channel division lacked the resources necessary to develop a successful channel partner program that would drive sales and increase brand recognition. With the demands of channel partners growing and competition rising, Network Associates approached Propel Group in need of a solution.
Solution
Propel Group stepped in and assigned dedicated resources to the task. The Red Alert campaign was developed and used across the channel to create some excitement within the brand. Channel tools such as sales training books, promotional brochures and product launch kits were designed, as well as a channel partner newsletter that utilized the Red Alert theme. A branding audit was also conducted within channel partners, and it was found that 85% of partners were misrepresenting the brand in more than one way. There were 10-20 marketing deliverables needed per day, and Propel efficiently prioritized and delivered these in a calendar that was used across the channel department.
Impact
Red Alert really got the attention of the channel partners. It became the most remembered theme at events. All of the Red Alert tools armed partners with marketing materials that they needed to increase sales. Marketing managers in charge of partner recruitment and sales no longer had to scramble for the materials that they needed to successfully market the company. The accuracy of the way that partners were representing the brand increased over 100%. With Red Alert-themed product launch kits that were developed, the channel department met and exceeded sales goals each quarter.
Microsoft Corporation—Big Day Programlytics
Overview
Microsoft initiated a series of free seminars around the country inviting the public in to test-drive new products. Tutorials and onsite training was available.
Solution
Propel created direct mail programs for over 32 markets in the U.S. the firm and managed turnkey fulfillment and list merge responsiblities.
Impact
Seminars booked "full" at every single venue.
Citadel Security Software
Overview
Citadel Security Software had no brand recognition in the extremely saturated security software technology arena.
They needed assistance with global strategy and overall branding to make them stand out from the crowd.
Solution
Assisting the client with fresh concepts, marketing strategies, extensive content writing and media schedule management, Propel Group created targeted messaging and branding elements which were applied to trade show, sales support collateral and publication ads for Citadel.
Impact
Propel Group's designed campaigns increased awareness and recognition of their core message. Efforts resulted in a quarterly sales increase of over 700%. Focus group ad ratings of 100% recognition were realized after only three months of media insertions.
Panja
Overview
Our client had no brand recognition as "Panja." (company had formerly been AMX). Under new ownership, there was a need for new products and sales literature reflective of the new organization.
Solution
Propel Group created a new corporate brand for Panja which integrated graphic icons to segment different product areas for product lines clarity.
Impact
Product deliverables, time frames and shipping goals were met with Propel’s involvement, where internal teams had failed in the past.
