History

Launched May 1, 1996, Propel Group is a mid-sized advertising/graphic design studio offering results-oriented marketing concepts and effective creative.

Known as the shop who offices in the "movie theater" (formerly known as Major Theatre in east Dallas), Propel provides tailor-made marketing communications tools you need to propel your business.

Partners

Managing partners are Dale Rushing and Darren Weirich. In their combined experience, they have held senior level creative positions in agencies and graphic design studios in Dallas and Fort Worth, as well as serving as design director for a large Dallas based company with regional offices across the U.S.

Dale Rushing

Rushing was manager of design services/marketing communications at VHA, Inc., where he managed the design team for 30 business units and regional offices throughout the United States. While working full time at VHA, Mr. Rushing also owned and operated a design consultancy, Elad Creative, whereby he managed creative projects turnkey. Mr. Rushing has served in senior level creative director positions for numerous well-respected area firms including The Phillips Agency in Fort Worth, Texas; The Oakley Company in Dallas and Eisenberg, Inc. design studio in Dallas. He began his career in the print media with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and The Houston Post. He also has taught publication design at The University of Texas at Arlington. Rushing served three years as treasurer for the Dallas Society of Visual Communications and is currently a member of DSVC.

Darren Weirich

Weirich (pronounced "why rick") formerly was the owner and operator of 032, a design studio in Dallas from 1994 to 1996, serving clients as well as supporting area design studios and agency creative teams. Previously, he was senior art director in the design services/marketing communications department at VHA, Inc. He has served as art director and designer with other organizations including Robert A. Wilson Associates, Inc. in Dallas. Weirich is a member of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications.
